Dr. Caroline Gallagher

Dr. Gallagher has extensive experience in environmental legislation as applied to industry and the problems encountered in complying. This also involves enabling an appreciation of the practicalities and problems relating to the enforcement of legislation. She is also involved in development of curriculum for Sustainable development. She is a member of an international team with the remit of explaining why sustainability should be incorporated into the curriculum in Eastern European countries.

  • How environmental legislation can play a role in achieving sustainability
  • How ecological design can become practical, affordable and comfortable
  • Achieving urban sustainability: focusing on the Castlemilk area of Glasgow
  • The use of GIS
